Asha Jyoti Group from the Holy Land of Varanasi specializes in Packet Tea & Unmanufactured Tobacco.

The company was founded by Mr. Raman Bhai Patel in 1960 and AJ Group was established in the year 1987 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Raman Bhai Patel’s sons Mr. Paresh & Kamlesh Patel followed the footsteps and guidance of their father and took the AJ Group to the new heights.

From a small beginning in 1960 to becoming one of the leading packet tea suppliers,

1960

The Beginning

The company was founded by Mr. Raman Bhai Patel in 1960. Mr. Raman Bhai was originally from the village of Mogri in Gujarat. He started off with a small business of Unmanufactured Tobacco in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. With time, Mr. Raman Bhai took the Unmanufactured Tobacco business to the new heights and launched the brand Asha Jyoti in the year 1987. Since then, the Tobacco was branded & packaged under Asha Jyoti brand.

2009

Growth & Expansion

Later, his sons Mr. Paresh Patel and Mr. Kamlesh Patel joined the business and took the route for the national presence of the Asha Jyoti brand. By 2009 they successfully expanded the supply chain of Asha Jyoti Tobacco in the entire Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chennai. With the increasing popularity of the AJ Group and the demand of their Unmanufactured Tobacco, they launched a bigger production facility in Varanasi.

A New Chapter – Asha Jyoti Tea

Asha Jyoti brand wanted to give something to the society to come together and feel energetic. That’s how the idea of Packet Tea got its inception. Since India wakes up with tea every morning, it’s very important to have a PURE TEA for everyone that can energise & rejuvenate the mind and body. With their love for tea and a clear vision to give Pure Packet Tea, Asha Jyoti launched premium packet tea in the year 2010.
